Good Morning or Good Afternoon, Library (your name) speaking. May I help you?

Transfer calls

While you have the person on the phone, push the “LINK” button, dial 6 and the last 4 numbers of the extension to which you are transferring, let it ring once and then hang up (example: “LINK” 6 - 6800).

Check out Books (Charge)

· Click on the Charge icon · Scan patrons ID with wand · Scan barcode (on inside back cover of book) · Stamp the book with date · De-sensitize book on the machine · See special instructions for reserve and board review check out.

Check in Books (Discharge)

· Click on the Discharge icon · Scan barcode on book · Sensitize book on the machine · Put book on cart to be re-shelved (do not put Reserve books on carts).

Enforce Library Rules of Conduct.

No food is permitted in the Library. Bottled water and beverages in travel mugs or reusable sport bottles only are permissible. Glass bottles, cans, styroform cups and other disposable containers are not acceptable.
